ZTE has once again made itself known as it announces two new devices to its Blade series, which are the Blade V7 and Blade V7 Lite. Both smartphones feature a sleek and metallic design cases that some observed and are saying to be familiar looking.
Engadget says that yes, it does look familiar as it is reminiscent of the latest iPhone designs. For example some claim that the V7 is similar to that of the iPhone 6 or 6s. On the other hand, the Blade V7 Lite is said to be similar to iPhone 5. They do have a few tweaks in their designs so one might say that it is a bit of an upgraded iPhone design.
The Blade V7 comes with a full-metal body of a decent build quality. It has a 5.2-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution that is topped off with a curved glass for a sophisticated touch. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow on an octa-core MediaTek chipset. It comes with an internal storage of 16GB and a RAM of 2GB, reports Phone Arena.
V7 also sports a 13 megapixel rear shooter that has a quick phase-detection auto-focus and a dual-tone LED flash while the front shooter is 5 megapixels and is best for selfies. The latest ZTE mobile phone is powered by a 2500 mAh battery. It will be sold in various countries by this year’s summer.
GSM Arena reports that V7 has a body dimension of 146 x 72.5 x 7.5mm. It’s screen has a pixel density of 424 ppi. It comes with a Mali-T720MP3 GPU and says that its internal storage is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. The dual-SIM capable phone also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, A-GPS and microUSB v2.0 in terms of connectivity options. It comes in one color variant which is silver
Meanwhile, the ZTE V7 Lite on the other hand has a 5-inch screen with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It runs on a quad-core MediaTek chipset with the same Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It is also dual-SIM capable.
It has an 8 megapixel rear and front shooters with geo-tagging, touch-focus, face detection, HDR, panorama, and LED flash features. It also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, A-GPS and microUSB v2.0 in terms of connectivity options and only comes in one color variant which is silver.
Both models, according to Pocket-lint, are destined to arrive in Germany, Spain and Mexico. Blade V7 will also be going to South Africa and Ethiopia while the V7 Lite will be arriving in Russia and Thailand soon.
