Xiaomi, one of the largest smartphone manufacturers has revealed the launch of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 this coming October. It is expected to be a high-end smartphone, featuring a smart screen with the curved edge.
Xiaomi Note 2 has a 5.7-inch AMOLED Force touch display and carries a 1440X2560 resolution. There will be two versions of this smartphone. One will come with the Snapdragon 821 SoC chipset, which features a quad-core CPU of 2.4GHz and Adreno 530 GPU. This variation features a great configuration of 8GB RAM.
The second model of new Xiaomi Note 2 will be driven by Snapdragon 820 chipset and will have 4GB of RAM on board. The premium version (821) is named as Mi Note 2 Pro and will have 256 GB capacity as the native Storage.
The other version (820) is likely to be called Mi Note 2 without the Pro tag. The Pro version is expected to offer more battery capacity with quick charge capabilities provided by a 3600 mAh battery.
The biggest buzz in the town is the price of the new Mi Note 2 and according to PhoneArena, this phone will be priced at the equivalent of $399 USD. The biggest competitor to this phone is the Samung Galaxy Note 7, which offers a lot of similarity in style with this phone.
Chinese electronic analyst Pan Jiutang says that the Xiaomi Note 2 is expected to be introduced by the end of October. He also added that the new stylish phone will come with a plethora of color choices. This will also constitute a big factor in the increased sales of Note 2 from Xiaomi.
The Mi Note 2 has been circling in the rumor mill over the last few months and lots of expectation has been gathered by this new version. But this new information about the launch date will surely bring some peace in the minds of Smartphone lovers and specially those looking for a good option for Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
