Earlier this month, Microsoft announced that Xbox One will be backwards compatible with Call of Duty Black Ops. Moreover, recent sources have confirmed that the company will be announcing five more titles before its appearance at E3.
Xbox One backwards compatibility was revealed last November; since then, Microsoft has been releasing new titles every month, sometimes every week. But the recently leaked titles haven’t been confirmed by Amazon or Microsoft yet.
The reason behind the five new titles could possibly be the success of Black Ops. According to Express, the game gained over 13,000 percent on Amazon on the day of announcement. Thanks to Amazon, Microsoft’s new titles that will be backwards compatible have been revealed to us.
- Dragon Age II
- Fight Night Round 4
- Burnout Revenge
- Fable Anniversary
- Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
These games have been listed under Amazon, which is possibly an unofficial confirmation that the mentioned titles are soon to arrive. In other news, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is already being promoted by Xbox One to be backwards compatible. However, the tech giant still hasn’t revealed its release date nor a confirmation on their official website.
Other games like Halo 3: ODST and Crackdown 2 were also among the Amazon sale list. But the e-commerce has made changes to the list. Not to worry, since rumors indicate that Microsoft is set to announce several titles that are backwards compatible with Xbox One during E3. We might as well wait and find out.
