Xbox One Games Update: ‘Gone Home’ Coming To Microsoft Console And PS4

Gone Home is another popular game that Microsoft is adding to the Xbox One games library. This game is also coming to PS4 consoles.

Xbox One and PS4 are constantly making headlines these days, especially since the holiday season has started. Microsoft is offering discounts on Xbox One games. So is Sony, which is why PS4 games top shopping lists. This is what is making these gaming companies the trending topics of today.

Who wouldn’t like to add more games to their collection this holiday season? Xbox and PS4 have been introducing new games to consoles. This includes new and free games every month. A quick reminder: Microsoft is running 12 Days of Deals and is selling Xbox 360 and Xbox One games for $30 and $20 off their regular prices.

Players will soon get to enjoy “Gone Home” on their gaming consoles. The game is expected to come to PlayStation 4 as well as Xbox One within a month’s time. January 12, 2016, to be precise. The game was critically acclaimed in 2013. The new version is said to be identical to the version we have played on the PC in 2013.

Steve Gaynor, designer of the game, said, “Ever since Gone Home came out we’ve wanted to be able to bring it to people who maybe aren’t PC gamers, or don’t have a good enough computer, or who just want to play in their living room, maybe to share the experience with a friend or loved one from the comfort of their couch.” He added, “Our goal wasn’t to add or change things, but just to bring the game that players know and love onto consoles in the best possible form we could.”

“Gone Home’s” new version has been developed in-house by Fullbright. The game will come to consoles with behind-the-scenes developer commentary of about 90 minutes. The only bad news is that there will be no Wii U version, which was part of the original plan.

So wait till January 12 and enjoy this popular PC game on your Xbox One or PS4. For more stories on Xbox One games and console, click here.
