Xbox Live Gold members are all set to receive four free games in the month of September, as promised by the company. Two of the games are meant for Xbox One while the other two will be for Xbox 360. Let us take a look at the games the company is giving out for free starting tomorrow.
Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition: Tomb Raider, a popular game for Xbox, will be given out free to Xbox One users. The game, set on the mysterious and dangerous island of Yamatai, emphasizes the origin of Lara Croft. The game was released in 2013 and was well-received by the gamers after a late release. One million copies of the game were sold in the first two days and the total sale amounted to 8.5 million. The Definitive Edition that is being given out was released months later.
The Deer God: This game will also given out free for Xbox One users. It’s a 3D game about survival, reincarnation and karma. The game is going to keep the players on edge of their seats.
Battlestations – Pacific: Battlestations was released in 2009 and this September the game is given out free to Xbox Live Gold members using the Xbox 360. It is defined as an “action-packed combat and strategic warfare at an extraordinary scale and features two distinctly different single player campaigns” by IGN. The iconic battle of World War II is captured in the form of the game.
Crysis 3 is also served to Xbox 360 users for free, but that may still start this October. This game was also released in early 2013 and focuses on the Prophet. However, the game failed to meet the expectations of the company as far as the sales are concerned.
