Xbox Live has come a long way. At E3, Microsoft announced various improvements and add-on features that will soon be available in the next update for Xbox Live. But due to announcements such as these, fans may have forgotten two games were made available Thursday.
Fans will no longer able to grab their copy of Costume Quest 2. But Microsoft has made The Crew and XCOM: Enemy Unknown available for download.
The Crew is now up for grabs until July 15 on Xbox One. The Xbox One Live Gold members will also be impressed to find out Goat Simulator will also be available for free for the whole month of June.
On the other hand, XCOM: Enemy Unknown is also now available for Xbox 360 gold members until the end of the month. As an alternative the game can also be downloaded through the Xbox One Backwards Compatiblity feature, Express reported.
As pointed out by Polygon, users who have active Xbox live Gold subscriptions can purchase the above mentioned titles for free. The game will remain uncharged even after your subscription expires.
In other news, the upcoming update for Xbox live will have add-ons that allow customers to play background music when they access their console. A new feature called “clubs” will be added to increase the connectivity and interaction within their gaming community, as it allows them to create chat spaces to communicate with fellow gamers.
These new features and improvement will be launched this October. Fans are also awaiting for more backwards-compatible and free games for Gold members for the month of July and August.
