The reviews don’t deny that X Men: Apocalypse is an action-packed superhero movie that deserves to be experienced in theaters. But will you be left hanging by the scene after the credits rolled? Or will you leave the movie house with goosebumps?
Fans have been puzzled over the post-credit screen missing in the early preview for journalists. However, the producers were quick to tease the inclusion of a post-credit scene in the official worldwide release.
WARNING: MILD SPOILERS!
In the interview conducted by Collider, writer/producer Simon Kinberg said:
It’s a nod toward potentially a lot of different movies. I mean certainly the Wolverine movie is related to what happens at the end of it, but there’s also another character that’s introduced, at least in name, in the tag and he could show up in any host of different X-Men films. Maybe a Gambit movie, maybe another X-Men movie.
Although post-credits are not necessary scenes to give satisfying ending to viewers, it has definitely become a trend in superhero movies. Even X-Men: Days of Future Past teased the arrival of Apocalypse in the post-credit scene. The Wolverine also featured a post-credit scene which teased the team-up of all mutants. Basing on the previous titles, it is certain we will be exposed to a new character in the X-Men Apocalypse post-credit scene.
The movie will be hitting theaters on May 27. Several earlier preview reviews are already available across the internet. The movie is currently rated 8.2/10 in IMDb.
