Mel B replaced Nicole Scherzinger for a day at the London auditions of the X Factor UK, but the change will not be for good. Scherzinger, one of the X Factor UK 2016 judges, was reportedly busy taking care of some other commitments.
“Mel’s coming in as a guest judge to cover Nicole because she isn’t able to make the first day of filming,” the Sun quoted a source as saying. “This is a diary clash that Nicole had booked in before she agreed to do X Factor and couldn’t change.”
Mel B reportedly got the temporary gig due to her relationship with America’s Got Talent co-judge Simon Cowell. The hard-hearted judge knows Mel B will come in an take no prisoner so she is a perfect replacement to Scherzinger.
Meanwhile, Sharon Osbourne is all set to make the contestants go through a tough time on the show, the Metro reported. Osbourne reportedly brought a female contestant to tears by throwing the brutal truth to her.
Osbourne, 63, will be joining the judge’s panel alongside Scherzinger, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh, the Huffington Post reported. She has announced her return on the show and promised fans that she will be much candid and blunt like what most fans are expecting from here.
Osbourne said that she never intentionally wanted to hurt anyone. However, she has no choice but to remain honest to contestants who are not deserving of a spot in the finale.
“I don’t want to hurt anyone, but unfortunately the nerves and rejection during the audition process does often cause some tears,” the Sun quoted her as saying. “I’m a mom and a grandma, I don’t want to intentionally hurt anyone who comes to audition but sometimes you have to say no.”
Osbourne also made headlines recently after she was spotted flaunting a wedding ring at the London auditions on Sunday. Just Jared reported that it seemed that Osbourne and her husband Ozzy Osbourne are trying to mend the relationship after splitting.
