The freckled royal with his untamed brunette locks hair, a slight smile and his handsome disposition is sure to soon set hearts racing. Prince Nikolai of Denmark has already turned 17.
The young prince is the oldest son of Prince Joachim, whom he shares with his ex-wife Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg. The former royal couple have two sons Nikolai and his younger brother Prince Felix, 14.
Nikolai’s parents Joachim, 47, and Alexandra, 52 got married in 1995 and divorced in 2005. They share the joint custody of their two sons. Alexandra is of Chinese and European origin, who lived in Hong Kong prior to her royal wedding.
Just like his dad and his uncle Crown Prince Frederik, Prince Nikolai previously attended Krebs School in Copenhagen. He is seventh in line to the Danish throne and is styled as the Count of Monpezat.
Prince Nikolai, who is the grandson of Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik, was born in August 28, 1999. His famous family members include his stepmom Princess Marie and his stylish aunt Crown Princess Mary.
The tall, lanky and handsome royal has two siblings – a sister and a brother from his dad’s marriage to Marie, while he has four little cousins. Prince Nikolai is rarely seen in the limelight.
“H.H. Prince Nikolai turns 17 years old today. On the occasion of his birthday we have taken new pictures of the prince,” the picture was captioned. The official photographs were clicked by Steen Brogaard.
Prince Nikolai was last seen at the Rio 2016 Olympic game in Brazil along with his family. The six family members vacationed at the world’s largest waterfall system, Iguazu, on the border between Brazil and Argentina.
Besides, he waved from the balcony along with his family on his grandmother’s 76th birthday celebrations in April. The young Danish prince seems to have a great love for music and made an appearance at the local radio show P4 Weekend as a guest DJ.
So here’s looking forward to prince Nikolai to set hearts racing and also a musical career.
