Pop icon Whitney Houston and her daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown both led highly successful showbiz, careers, with the former being a six-time Grammy Award winner, while the latter became a popular reality TV personality.
But unfortunately, both suffered tragic deaths – just three years apart from each other – and almost in the same chilling conditions.
And now a person very close to them, Nick Gordon, has been reportedly implicated not only in Bobbi’s alleged murder, but also in the death of her mother, according to Radar Online.
Sources of the entertainment site revealed that if charges are eventually filed against Gordon for Bobbi’s death , there is allegedly a possibility that a new investigation will be made into Whitney Houston’s death as well.
“There are obvious similarities between the way they both were bruised and drugged in bathtubs — and Nick was nearby both times,” the source disclosed.
Gordon’s best friend, alleged drug dealer Max Lomas, has reportedly agreed to testify against the former, if the grand jury charges him with murder.
It was Lomas and his girlfriend Danyela Bradley, who discovered Bobbi facedown in a bathtub in her Roswell, Ga., home on Jan. 31, 2015.
This was after the couple saw Gordon brutalizing the young actress in two separate attacks earlier that same evening.
Lomas subsequently called up 911 to alert authorities on what they witnessed.
On Feb. 11, 2012, in a frighteningly similar scenario, Houston’s bruised and beaten body was discovered laying facedown in a tub at the Beverly Hills Hilton.
An autopsy of the multi-awarded singer revealed that the cause of her death was “accidental drowning with cocaine as a contributing factor.”
Surprisingly, Gordon was also reportedly at the hotel that night, fueling rumors that he may allegedly be involved in the deaths of Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina Brown.
In the meantime, Gordon has already opened up regarding the demise of Bobbi Kristina, declaring that he desperately tried to save both mother and daughter.
According to the Express, Gordon had insisted that the 22-year-old star’s death was “was her own doing.”
This, despite the recent claim of the singer-actress’ father, Bobby Brown, that “he (Gordon) knows what happened to his daughter and her mother Whitney because there was only one person around.”
“What happened to Krissy was Krissy’s own doing, sad as it is. I didn’t get to go to my fiancee’s funeral,” Gordon told The Sun in a recent interview. “There’s a lot of regret there.”
“On the day I went to the beach and watched the waves. It was something she liked to do and I talked to her and I cried,” he added.
Despite their tragic deaths, Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death will be remembered for the contributions they have made to the entertainment industry.
