#WhiteOutDay started to trend on Twitter.
In response to the #BlackOutDay trend on March 6, the #WhiteOutDay hashtag has been gaining momentum as well.
Twitter users began joining #WhiteOutDay with solemn desire to promote the beauty of white people, or to just troll around.
Mixed reactions filled the #WhiteOutTag tag feed. Some say this is a way for white people to ruin the momentous #BlackOutDay celebration, with several finding the time to insert humor in their posts.
