Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives would like to speak to any females living in the area of 1500 block of West 104th Street Second who were recently pregnant or are no longer pregnant with the baby missing. This is in relation to an investigation surrounding the human remains to that of a one to three-day-old infant that appeared to have been dismembered.
Westmont newborn baby dismembered
The infant’s body parts were discovered on Saturday, April 25, at 10:05 a.m. in the 1500 block of West 104th Street, Los Angeles.
“The remains are that of a 1 to 3 day old infant. The infant appears to have been dismembered. Significant portions of the body are still missing,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives said in a statement.
Detectives are also urging for residents to look in yards and trash cans for any suspicious items that have been thrown for the possibility that other body parts may be thrown in separate locations.
Nine-year-old found dismembered newborn
Nine-year-old Britany Plascencia found the baby’s legs in the backyard of one of their neighbors, KCAL9’s Erica Nochlin reported.
“The dog was sniffing the ball. I thought it was sniffing the ball so I was going to get the ball and I got it. I saw the legs. I just ran to my mom and told her what I saw,” Plascencia said.
She said the baby’s body parts were scattered in two corners near the fence of the their neighbor’s backyard.
