Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant has gotten off to a start of his lifetime in the 2017 season. Durant was recently named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week.
Kevin Durant ‘as good as you can possibly be’
Resident Golden State Warriors veteran Andre Iguodala said that Durant is only going to get better. As reported by USA Today, Iguodala was singing high praises for Durant.
“KD has been just about as good as you can possibly be,” Iguodala said. “But I don’t think he has really scratched the surface as far as what he can do.”
Behind averages of 24.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 2.75 blocked shots, Durant led a 4-0 week (from November 21 until November 27). During Golden State Warriors’ victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on November 23, Durant scored 28 points with six rebounds and five assists. The team won 149-106.
With a win over Minnesota Timberwolves on November 26, the Golden State Warriors now have a 11 game winning streak.
Durant ended the week with 28 points, 10 rebounds, six blocks (his career best), and five assists.

“I’m telling you, he’s got a crazy arsenal,” Iguodala continued. “He’s one of the best scorers of all time as far as finding a way to score.”
“I think sometimes he’s trying to make sure he doesn’t shoot too many shots, but we’re trying to let him know that it’s impossible for him to shoot too many shots.”
