WATCH: DeMarcus Cousins Mops Stadium Floor

Sacramento Kings star center DeMarcus Cousins was seen mopping the floor just before the game between the Kings and Philadelphia 76ers was postponed.

The reason for the postponement of the game was the presence of moisture on the court. There was ice underneath the night before due to a Flyers game.

The league said the game was “postponed due to unsafe playing conditions on the arena floor.” According to the 76ers CEO Scott O’Neil, the Kings would visit Philadelphia either at the beginning or the end of January.

Keith Pompey, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, said that the moisture was due to high temperature outside; the temperature in the arena measured 75 degrees.

In an official statement, the 76ers said, “The Philadelphia 76ers game tonight against the Sacramento Kings has been delayed due to an issue regarding the surface of the court. Arena officials are currently working on the surface to ensure that it is suitable for play tonight and that player safety is paramount.”
