Ah, Wimbledon 2015. So many things have happened that typically happen only at Wimbledon. This time, it’s not a tennis player that’s the star of a major feat, but the football superstar, David Beckham.
During the men’s double semifinals between Jamie Murray-John Peers and Jonathan Erlich-Philipp Petzschner, the ball bounced up to the audience area, landing nowhere else but on Beckham’s agile hand.
And he tossed it back, suave and all.
He garnered an awestruck applause from the audience, something that people couldn’t resist even in a tamed environment like the Wimbledon.
