Gamer have been waiting for the release of Red Dead Redemption on PC since it was released for Xbox One and PS4. While Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have remained mum about it, fans hopes have still remained unshaken after six years thanks to the release of Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC.
During Take-Two Interactive’s announcement at E3, the audience hoped for an announcement on Red Dead Redemption for PC, as a sequel reveal for the video game seemed unlikely. However, fans were disappointed again after not getting any details about RDD for PC.
Fortunately, we have an alternative game title for now. According to Game Spot the western-themed game Gun is available on Projekt’s PC storefront GOG. The game title was already up for grabs on Steam. But Gun was launched with no DRM, making it available for purchase at $20.
Gun video game has the same western cowboy mechanics of Red Dead Redemption. It was developed by Neversoft with action sequences, which involves brawling on horseback, collecting bounties and taking over trains to progress in missions and complete the story mode.
In other news, it looks like Projekt RED may be in the loop about Nintendo NX development. During an interview with Projekt RED’s Mario Deohla, he gave the viewers a suprising answer by saying that the NX will be fantastic, adding that they know things about the console, Express reported.
As excited as fans were, his humorous tone during the interview made fans doubtful about his statement. Deohla took to Twitter to announce that some parts of his segment were filled with jokes.
“This whole stream was full of ‘everything is awesome’ jokes,” Deohla said. “Don’t blame the translator though. Devs are excited about new hardware.”
Gamers should expect more details about the NX during Nintendo’s shareholder meeting on June 29. There is a growing speculation Nintendo will reveal release date details after the meeting.
