Vikings’ Season 4 Midseason Air Date, News Updates: Ragnar Sons All Grown Up!

“Vikings” Season 4 midseason will feature an older Ragnar and his sons, who will be all grown-up.

Design & Trend reported that the actor chosen to portray lvar The Boneless is Alex Hogh Andersen. He has various TV shows to his name such as “Tvillingerne & Julemanden,” “Hedensted High” and “Outsider.”

His role can be quite challenging because Ivar The Boneless is crippled but bestowed with extraordinary ability. He will eventually become king.

Ubbe, the oldest son of Ragnar Lothbrok and Aslaug in “Vikings”  will be portrayed by John Patrick Smith. He was cast in the Australian soap opera “Neighbors” and the British drama”Banished.” He was also one of the casts of “Unbroken,” Angelina Jolie’s movie.

Marco Ilsø will take the role of the second son, Hvitserk. He is cast in a Danish TV series before. He has appeared in films such as “Danny’s Doomsday,” “The Absent One,” and “Model.”

David Lindström plays the son who follows Hvitserk, Sigurd. He is an intelligent man who will discern the effect of Harbard’s return to his mother and the women in Kattegat. For his acting experience, he is cast as Simon Nilsson in “Blue Eyes.”

The same source reported that the second half of season 4 will show a different era where Ragnar’s sons will be grown-up and equally strong as he is. They will become warriors and will each desire for the kingdom of Kattegat.

The midseason has not yet aired and according to The BitBag, season 5 has already started filming. Some behind-the-scenes photos from the set were revealed.

Alexander Ludwig who plays Bjorn and Katheryn Winnick who plays Lagertha posted photos from the set. Ludwig was seen with his bloodied face. Winnick also posted a photo of the cast including the extras.

“Vikings” will immediately air now that “Game of Thrones” has wrapped up. History Channel will announce the date anytime now.
