Video Shows Disgusting ‘Drug-induced Orgy’ From Calgary Airbnb Rental

Remains of bodily fluids including urine, semen and vomit are found in all corners of the house after a Calgary Airbnb rental ended in a disaster brought by what police described as a “drug-induced orgy.” Ripped couch pillows with stains were piled up everywhere and garbage such as empty vodka bottles, cigarette butts and other party materials were scattered all over the house.

The nightmare happened after couple Star and Mark King, wanting to earn cash, rented out their home through Airbnb. The Kings said they rented the house to four adults who said they were in town for a wedding.

The couple now has to hire professional cleaners to bring their house back to its former glory. The estimated damage amounted to $50,000 to $70,000.

Airbnb renters were wasted

“Girls were wasted on my deck, just totally out of it, so I pleaded with them and said: ‘would you girls please just pack up your stuff and leave my home? I’m begging you; I have babies that live here – this is my home,'” Star King said as reported by CTV News.

Mark King said he felt violated after seeing the disaster their home had become.

“I mean, this is our home. This is our sanctuary,” Mark said.

“Our hardwood floors are all popping because there are pools of liquor. There’s glass shards, there’s dent in our walls, toilets flooded and plugged with condoms,” added Star.

In another interview on CBC, Star said they entrusted their keys to the four renters on Saturday night. She and her husband Mark then stayed at their parents’ house. Not long after settling in, neighbors started sending text messages.

A huge luxury party bus pulled up, and 100 people entered the house, according to one of messages she received.

Damage is more than $50,000

Calgary police were left shocked when they responded to the scene.

“In the 27 years of policing that I’ve done, I’ve never seen a home so badly damaged from a weekend party, and of course, with this kind of rental situation,” Staff Sgt. Jim Leung said during a press conference.

“The couch was broken, all the cushions were off … there’s a table broken, there’s glass all over the floor (and) there’s ketchup, mustard and barbecue sauce all over the floors and on the walls,” Const. Attila Horvath added.

Meanwhile Airbnb spokesman Jakob Kerr said the renters are now banned from Airbnb.

“We have zero tolerance for this kind of behaviour and our team is working quickly to make this right,” Kerr said in a statement obtained by CBC.

“Over 35 million guests have stayed on Airbnb, and property damage is extremely rare,” the statement said.
