“Orange is the New Black” may get Vee back on the show. Lorraine Toussaint, who plays the character, was present in the second season of the show, and she has placed some light on what is going to happen to her.
Toussaint was present in the Emmy Awards on Sunday and she shared a few things with ET. The 55-year-old actress will be seen in a new series starting from Wednesday on Netflix. However, she is hopeful. She said, “I don’t think Vee is dead really,” adding, “I think she’s hiding somewhere. She is hiding out. I think she will resurface somewhere, sometime — hopefully not in my lifetime or yours, ’cause she’s gonna come back really mad.”
When asked about the fourth season of “Orange is the New Black” and what Kate Mulgrew has to say, the actress said, “I’ll give you one little clue: It’s entirely unexpected. Even to me. Every script I get now, I just say, ‘My heavens. She continues to surprise, delight — it’s entirely unexpected. She’s really something and I love the part. I love the show.”
When asked the same question to Lea Delaria, Lea answered, “This is what I can tell you about season four, I’m in it and it comes out sometime next year!”
“Orange is the New Black” scored well this Emmy as far as nominations are concerned. Uzo Aduba was in tears while receiving the award this year, and the drama category nomination did not go haywire.
