Donald Trump “blindsided” by Paul Ryan’s stance? It seems that the GOP presidential candidate didn’t expect Ryan to come out to the press the way he did on CNN when the House Speaker said he wasn’t ready to support Trump. During an interview in NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Trump said, “He called me three weeks ago, and he was so supportive. I got blindsided by this.”
Ryan’s office later said that the last time the two had spoken was back in March. Meanwhile, Trump’s campaign manager clarified that the Republican presidential frontrunner was also referring to a conversation back in March.
New book accuses Hillary Clinton of being a “sexual predator” enabler. Dolly Kyle, a former on-again-off-again girlfriend of former president Bill Clinton, is on a mission to derail the Clinton presidential campaign for good.
According to a report from WND, Kyle, who refers to the former president as Billy, claims that President Clinton “is an untreated sex addict and serial rapist, serial sex abuser.” Moreover, she accuses the former first lady of being “complicit in all of that.” According to Kyle, there is plenty of material in her book for Trump to use against Clinton. She hopes he does.
Trump attacks Clinton with infidelity slur. The default GOP candidate went after the leading Democratic candidate and her husband during a rally in Spokane, Washington on Saturday, Trump referred to former President Bill Clinton as the “worst abuser of women in the history of politics” and said that the former first lady was an “enabler” as she “treated these women horribly.”
Meanwhile, Fox News reported that Clinton responded to Trump’s attack during an interview on CNN on Wednesday. She said, “If he (Trump) wants to go back to the playbook of the 1990s, if he wants to follow in the footsteps of those who have tried to knock me down and take me out of the political arena, I’m more than happy to have him do that.” It is unclear if Trump has read Kyle’s book on the Clinton’s.
Trump reveals taxes on the rich will go up in his proposed tax reform. While speaking with George Stephanopoulos for “This Week” on ABC News, the remaining GOP presidential candidate admitted that he predicts the tax rate he’s proposing for the top tier of the tax payers will go up by the time negotiations kick in.
“Look, when I’m negotiating with the Democrats, I’m putting in a plan. It’s not going to stay there,” Trump explained. Trump’s tax reform plan currently includes a proposed 25-percent tax for the country’s wealthy, instead of the current 39.6 percent. Moreover, his reform also calls for a simpler tax code, cutting the tax brackets down from seven to four.
College Clinton supporter reveals he’s feeling too much of the “Bern” in Harvard. According to a letter written by Sam Koppleman to The New York Times, “admitting that #ImWithHer is nearly tantamount to boasting “Make America Great Again.” Moreover, the Harvard Crimson op-ed editor also said that defending the leading Democratic candidate on campus has become “an unacceptable bigotry.”
