Testing the product before officially launching it in the market isn’t a new thing. It is always safe to let a small group of people try out the product first, so that if there are any complaints the company can rectify the problem.
Looks like a similar strategy has been used by Motorola for its Next-Gen smartwatch. If it weren’t spotted in Chicago by Gerrit Gödecke, a Google Plus user, and ThatGuyWhoRuinedIt, a Reddit user, no one would have come to know about the testing of this new watch.
Here is what Gödecke posted on his Google Plus account:
If everything goes well, we may hear about the launch of this latest smartwatch soon. Till then, let us have a look at its features and figure out whether it’s similar to the previous Moto 360.

The button has been shifted
The physical button that was placed at around 3 ‘clock has now shifted upwards and is now placed at 2 o’clock. This may make the usage a lil’ bit easier now.
This may disappoint a few people as the ones who have used the Moto 360 have not been a big fan of flat tire. A new design was expected from the next-gen moto 360, but looks like the company has other plans.
Next Gen Moto 360‘s two versions were spotted in the market.
1. One with all-black leather strap
2. Another with a Cognac band
As these watches are rumored to be in their testing phase, you’ll never know with the actual launch – Motorola may surprise you with different colors and more stylish looks as well.
Though the watches in the market are very much similar to the old ones, we still cannot pass any comment on it till the company makes an official announcement. Being in the testing phase, the actual product may surprise us with a number of different features and stylish looks.
