It’s finally the end of speculations for “Tyrant” lovers. The most controversial show this year is finally renewed for season 3 by FX. It was previously heard that FX has ended the contract of the show and even if it continues, it will be on a different network. However, latest news has confirmed that FX has renewed the Middle East-set drama show for 10 more episodes.
“Tyrant” Season 2 averaged 2.47 million total viewers. While the number was lower than the previous year, the show can draw some attention due to its great direction and superb storyline. The show had to cover 13 episodes for season 2 though it could manage 12.
Eric Schrier, president of original programming for FX Networks and FX Productions, said while announcing, “’Tyrant’s’ second season took the show to a new level thanks to the skill and direction of Howard, Chris and Glenn and their creative team, the exceptional cast and a story steeped in family, loyalty and intrigue,” adding, “We look forward to the next chapter and a sensational third season of ‘Tyrant.’”
The good news is that “Tyrant” season 3 will start airing in 2016. The story will eventually pick up where it ended and if you have followed the storyline, it will be quite interesting, too.
This is good news for the TV show “Tyrant.” Recently, the show got its airdate in the UK on FOX slated to be aired in November.
