Boone Pickens announced that he will endorse presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, the oil billionaire said that he will be organizing a fundraiser for the pro Trump super PAC next month, as reported by the Wall Street Journal. Twenty people are expected to be invited to the event, according to an official with the super PAC, called Great America PAC, said.
5-year-old girl fatally shoots herself while playing with weapon
A 5-year-old girl shot herself with a weapon she found under a pillow in her grandmother’s Detroit home, as reported by FOX 8. The victim was playing with the weapon when the accident occurred. She was with two younger children at the time. While the investigation into the incident is ongoing, no charges have been filed yet. The grandmother was questioned by the police and subsequently released.
America’s middle class sees a decline
A study conducted by the Pew Research Center has revealed that the share of middle income household has plunged in 90 percent of the country’s 229 metro areas between the years of 2000 and 2014, as reported by Local 10. In 2014, almost 51 percent people lived in middle income households; while the same was recorded to be 55 percent in 2000. The median income for middle class three person family was $72,919 in 2014.

According to the statements that Planned Parenthood shooter Robert Lewis Dear made in his interview following his arrest, he has been declared mentally incompetent to stand trial, as reported by CNN.
