Toast To The New Year With These Wines

Wines have become integral part of every special celebration, including welcoming the New Year. But with the wide varieties of wine that are currently available on the market, choosing the best ones can be daunting.

For this purpose, the Morning News USA has compiled some of the finest wines as recommended by established sommeliers in the country. These wines are chosen for their affordability, taste, and overall appeal to wine enthusiasts, among other things.

Wines Under $50

In choosing wines, quality should not be confused with its price tag. As previously proven in blind experiments, a wine’s quality has nothing to do with its price or brand for that matter.

The Christian Venier Cheverny La Pierre Aux Chiens, Loire, France 2014, at $21 and Hofgut Falkenstein Krettnacher Euchariusberg Riesling Auslese, Mosel, Germany 2013, for $31 are cheaper but good-tasting alternatives.

The $21 wine is described as a bright-colored natural known for its distinct floral earthiness taste. The $31 alternative is ideal for wine lovers who love fruity flavors. Both are perfect for wine enthusiasts who value wine quality, but with a little budget.

$50-$100 Wines

There are plenty of wines that one can choose from with price tags ranging from $50 to $100. While wines falling within this category are already considered relatively expensive, it’s still within the reach of many wine lovers.
