‘Titanfall 2’ Single-Player Trailer Promises Lots Of Action And Explosions

An official single-player trailer has been released for “Titanfall 2,” a first-person shooter by Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts.

The new gameplay trailer focuses on certain aspects of the game such as the main character Jack Cooper and his partner, Vanguard-class Titan BT-7274. Single-player mode will see these two characters fighting their enemies while helping each other to the best of their abilities.

“Jack is showing a lot of potential but he’s still got a long way to go before he’s ready for Pilot Certification,” according to the synopsis on the game’s official website. Stepping in the shoes of an inexperienced fighter partnering with an intimidating machine is indeed worth a playthrough or two.

Respawn Entertainment founder and CEO Vince Zampella told IGN that “Titanfall 2” may not be the last game of the series. “We don’t have necessarily a trilogy in mind. You always hope when you create something that it’s embraced and that people will love it for generations to come,” he said, as quoted by Gamespot.

As for the original Titanfall game coming out on the PS4? “I believe we are limited in our ability to do that,” Zampella said, possibly referring to the publisher’s exclusive partnership with Microsoft. Abandon all hope.

“Titanfall 2” is scheduled to be released on October 28 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Until then, watch the action-packed trailer below.
