Meet C.H.I.P., the portable computer that fits in your pocket and does “computer things.” It’s hailed by its makers from Next Thing Co. as the “World’s First Nine Dollar Computer.”
Yup. It’s just for $9.
It’s a super small computer that allows users to browse the internet over Wi-Fi, play games over Bluetooth and save documents through its “onboard storage.” It connects over VGA, composite or HDMI. It also has lots of pre-installed apps that users can play with like tinkering with other computer projects.
Powered by a 1GHz processor, a 512 MB RAM and a 4GB storage, it promises a lot of potential so its Kickstarter campaign surged from nothing to 18,309 backers in less than a week when it first showed in the crowd funding website.
