Dylan O’Brien could really be recovering well as a new report has hinted that he might just be back on the set of “The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure” by December.
It means that the 24-year-old actor will still have enough time to further recover from the accident he experienced while filming a scene for his upcoming film. Back in March, he suffered some injuries after a mishap happened on the set while a car chase scene was being shot.
Following the accident, production was temporarily halted for him to rest and recover fully before he films again for “The Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure.”
As things appeared to have been kept under wraps, it was revealed on Twitter that there a chance that production will finally resume before 2016 ends.
“I hear you. 🙂 but right now it’s too early,” the movie’s director Wes Ball tweeted. “In December you should find audition announcements.”
When the accident happened, Fox issued a statement announcing the indefinite suspension of filming.
“The resumption of principal photography on ‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure’ has been further delayed to allow Dylan O’Brien more time to fully recover from his injuries,” the company stated. “We wish Dylan a speedy recovery and look forward to restarting production as soon as possible.”
Meanwhile, the recent sighting of the actor in a restaurant could be an indication that he is indeed ready to finish his new project.
“MY LIFE HAS BEEN MADE, meeting you was the best thing ever,” a fan captioned her snap with the star of the action-filled science fiction thriller film which she shared on Twitter.
The said fan disclosed that she spotted the bearded actor, who is also set to reprise his role in MTV’s “The Teen Wolf,” at the Jamba Juice in Sherman Oaks.
