The “Flashpoint Paradox” brought about Barry’s decision to go back in time and save his mother is sure to bring about an array of changes in Barry’s life in “The Flash” season 3. However, if Candice Patton is believed, there would be no changes in Barry-Iris relationship post-Flashpoint.
Barry and Iris
After spending two seasons of “will they, won’t they” dynamic, the fans, who were rooting for Allen-West union, were finally rewarded in the end of season 2.
However, barely after they had confessed their love to one another, Barry decides to travel back in time and stop the Reverse-Flash from killing his mother, ushering in the Flashpoint.
This has sent the fans of the show into conjuring up all kinds of theories that could possibly take place in the alternate timeline, including the end of Barry-Iris relationship.
Candice Patton, who plays Iris on the show, has spoken on the matter and reassured the fans that Allen-West is here to stay.
“Fans are anxiously waiting to figure out if West/Allen has been erased. I think fans can rest assured, we’ve established on this show, Barry and Iris have a relationship that’s destined. They’ll find each other on different timelines and multiverses”, Patton said in an interview with Newsweek.

Caitlyn’s alter ego which exists in “Earth 2,” Killer Frost, was already revealed in the second season.
