Brandon Knight has agreed to extend his career at Phoenix Suns for a deal of five years worth $70 million, according to sources.
The suns acquired Knight last season on a three team deal involving Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers at the February trade deadline. Ankle and heel injuries sidelined the 23 year-old point guard for most of the games of last season. In the 11 games he featured for the Suns he averaged 13.4 points and 4.5 assists.
Suns acquired Knight by trading Goran Dragic to Miami Heats. Knight was first picked by Detroit Pristons in 2011 NBA draft. Knight has averaged 15.2 points and 4.5 assists in his 4 year NBA career.
