‘Suicide Squad’ Movie News: Bad Reviews, Wonder Woman Expected To Rescue DC Extended Universe

Earlier on Tuesday, Many film critics published their review for Suicide Squad movie. Unfortunately, it looks like DC Extended Universe has yet again failed to appeal to them.

Early reviews before the embargo lift suggested the movie will be a success. However, recently most of the top reviewers consider the movie disappointing for various aspects.

Rotten Tomatoes was the first to reveal critics opinion. According to the their Consensus, “Suicide Squad boasts a talented cast and a little more humor than previous DCEU efforts, but they aren’t enough to save the disappointing end result from a muddled plot, thinly written characters, and choppy directing.”

David Ayer has also addressed the negative response via twitter. While most of the DC fans consider the movie to be a success among the audience, there’s no denying that the movie has become a victim to mixed opinions.

After “Batman v Superman,” fans expected “Suicide Squad” movie to be a success due to the inclusion of humor and reduced dark portrayal compared to the previous DCEU title. However, Reviews from other media agencies consider it to be failure.

Some desperate DC fans have also raised a petition to shut down Rotten Tomatoes. The description suggests that the reviews are affecting “people’s opinion even if it’s a really great movies.” The petition has already been signed by 6,412 supporters and requires about 1,088 more.

As David Ayer’s “Suicide Squad” fails to pick up DCEU in its race against Marvel, Director Patty Jenkin’s upcoming DC film is next in the line. Wonder Woman movie trailer also topped the Twitter activity during SDCC, beating other announcements made on the day.

Can “Wonder Woman” movie appeal to the critics? Fans will know June 2nd, 2017. For now, the audience can watch Suicide Squad on August 5th and judge it themselves.
