With 14 months still remaining before “Star Wars 8” hits the theatres worldwide, fans have appeared to be extra curious on what the new installment could offer.
The upcoming movie is said to talk about the resistance from Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) to get swayed to the light, while presenting the funeral of Han Solo (Harrison Form).
“Star Wars: Episode VIII” succeeds “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” which introduced new characters, particularly that of Daisy Ridley’s Rey.
Following her inclusion in the project, several “Star Wars 8” spoilers have suggested that the new film would focus on her backstory and her anticipated encounter with Kylo Ren.
Apart from this exciting plot, Carrie Fisher, who has been playing the role of Princess Leia, the mother of Kylo Ren and wife of Han Solo, shared some other things to expect from the franchise’s eighth instalment.
According to Yahoo, the 59-year-old actress revealed during the Star Wars Celebration Europe panel discussion with Warwick Davis that she would give some spanking to his son in “Star Wars 8.”
“We had a child who turned out to be Hitler,” she said in her own set of “Star Wars 8” spoilers. “I did spank Adam when I first met him so that felt good. He’s very tall so I don’t think he was scared.”
When asked about what happened between the seventh episode and the eighth one, Fisher was presumed to have gotten a slip of the tongue.
“Han’s funeral…” the actress dished. “Oh, oh… Han and I have a very, very volatile relationship, obviously, which leads to space divorce as you know. No I don’t think we are divorced – just estranged.”
In the meantime, Business Insider reported that new cast members joining “Star Wars 8” would include Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran. However, there have been details yet ever provided on the characters they are going to portray.
