Sony Xperia’s UK branch officially announced on a social networking site about the latest Marshmallow update to Xperia Z5, Z4 tablet and Z3+, starting March 7 in the United Kingdom. The exact dates of the software update to the respective devices will be confirmed in the days to come.
Sony wrote on Twitter- @falsenuggets it’s set to roll out from March 7th for Xperia Z5 series, Z4 Tablet and Z3+- we will share confirmed timings when its ready – Sony Xperia GB (@sonyxperiagb) February 15, 2016.
However, it should be noted that Sony’s social media teams were wrong in speculating dates in the past, so the tentative date as suggested on Twitter is subject to change anytime. Consumers should keep looking for any updates on dates in case of changes, according to Sony Xperia Blog.
The first hint of Marshamllow update for the Xperia Z5 was pointed in a report in December 2015. Although we have reached the middle of February, there is still no confirmation about the roll out yet. However, you should know that the firmware is seeding to Sony Xperia Z5 Compact and Z5 Premium handsets in Turkey, reports GSM Arena.
Sony recently launched the Xperia Beta Program to resolve issues with Marshmallow installation, so that the update can be rolled out to Sony Xperia Z2 and Z3 as quickly as possible. Users can sign in for the Beta Test program through the Xperia Program app.

It has a an array of new emojis, double-tap camera launch feature, new patches, shortcut settings, and most important two new invigorating features, Doze and Google Now on Tap.
