Sony seems to be slowing down when it comes to launching new phones. The company is known to launch two phones every year. But with “Xperia Z6,” the case is different.
It will not be introduced before 2016. While some believe that we will get to see the phone in the first half of next year, others believe that it will not be introduced before the second half of 2016.
Xperia Z6 will come with a bundle of wonderful specs. Listed below are some of the rumored “Xperia Z6 specs.”
Display: 5.5-inch IPS Triluminos display, 4K Resolution
Protection: Corning Gorilla Glass 4
Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 820
GPU: Adreno 530
Memory: 4GB RAM
Camera: 30-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel front camera
Battery: 4,000 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery
Operating System: Android Marshmallow
With a powerful battery, Sony Xperia Z6 will support Quick Charge 3.0. This will charge the device 85% in 35 minutes. The phone may also feature 4K video recording with HDR support. Fingerprint sensor is another feature to look forward to, as we know Google is planning to introduce some changes to the way smartphones work with Android 6.0. If Xperia Z6 runs on this operating system, a fingerprint sensor is something it won’t skip. It may also sport a USB Type-C port and front-facing speakers. Xperia Z6 might be a completely waterproof and dustproof device.
Sony also plans to improve its camera further by bringing the IMX2xx sensor to Xperia Z6. How will this sensor improve the picture quality? By improving the quality of color and also reducing noise in the pictures. Rumors say that it might also improve autofocus. It looks like Samsung will have to work harder to beat Xperia’s picture quality.
