Rumors have it that “Descendants of the Sun’ stars are dating in real life and fans cannot be more elated with the news. Their chemistry onscreen after all cannot be denied, and fans really hope they can become a real couple in real life. But are fans hoping in vain?
According to KPop Herald, there are rampant rumors that claim Song Joong Ki will already move to China and pursue his career there instead.
The news site claimed that the 31-year-old is already in talks with a Chinese Entertainment Agency to leave his current agency, Blossom Entertainment. Reportedly, the actor is offered 20 billion won to make the transfer.
Blossom Entertainment already tried to squash these rumors by claiming these are false. “Song Joong-ki leaving our agency will never happen,” he said.
One more official from the entertainment industry shared that, “There were no signs of Song moving away from Blossom. I don’t think it will happen.”
It is true however, that the actor will be in China soon. He and Song Hye Kyo will be in Chengdu on June 17 for their meet and greet session with their Chinese fans.
This is hardly the first time that rumors emerge to say the actor is looking for greener pasture elsewhere. According to ChinaTopix, the “Descendants of the Sun” star is also looking to build his career in Hollywood.
His popularity all over the world will make his entrance into the Tinseltown a shoo-in.
Still, whether that happens or not remain to be seen. After he finished his Eight-City China Tour, the actor will be busy with his film “Battleship Island.”
