Halloween is happening next month so what better way to a game like The Sims 4 to get into the mood with a Halloween-themed expansion pack?
The months have seen speculated guesses on what expansion pack The Sims 4 could have to offer. The best one yet is that “City Life” theme that cropped up at a Brazilian website. It showed a title called “Vida na Cicade” which when translated stands for “City Life”.
Aside from that, other possible improvements to the game included the possible addition of toddlers. Such came up from old files, only to be shot down by Lyndsay Pearson. It turns out that the file was part of an abandoned project and thus not related to The Sims 4.
“Supernatural” theme instead?
With those two bullets dodged now comes a new dish that could be timely if true. This is tied up to the rumor that a “Supernatural” theme similar to what was released to The Sims 3 coming out.
If so, this means that ‘vampires’, ‘witches’, ‘ghosts’ and ‘fairies’ would allow The Sims 4 players to transform, an old twist that could help improve the fortunes of the underperforming life-simulation game.
Aside from a plausible DLC that could make sense, a potential release is timely for the coming season of the spooks. Like the “City Life” and “Toddler” speculations, EA and Maxis have not confirmed anything on the rumored “Supernatural” themed pack.
Long road ahead for “The Sims 5”
The DLCs for The Sims 4 is the best gamers can hope for at this point. There is no word on the potential release of The Sims 5 and a lot of the blame was pinned on the poor sales performance of The Sims 4.
Apparently, the PC-only game has a lot of track to cover but at least some gamers have not totally abandoned the game.
