The Samsung Tab S2 was released in July last year, and the Tab S3 is set for release this year. Recently, two new models of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 were exposed at GeekBench testing center, the SM-T819 and SM-T719 that revealed their specs.
GeekBench revealed the specs and features of SM-T719, which is a mid-range tablet with 8-inches display. Supported by super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and Corning Gorilla Glass, the on-screen stay protected and shows maximum clarity in pictures, reports GSMarc.
Leaked reports suggest that the SM-T719 model will feature 4GB of RAM and will be based upon Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 operating system. It will be powered by octa-core ARM Qualcomm processor set at 1.40 GHz. Further details reveal that the phone will come with 32GB internal memory with expandable 64GB memory. The GeekBench testing result showed scores of the SM-T719, with 1312 in single-core test and 4122 in multi-core test, states TechGrapple.
On the other hand, the Samsung Tab S3 SM-T819 has already been tested on GFXBench. Testing report reveals the tech specs of the particular model that has fared well in 3D Graphics performance score. In addition, the device will have a 9.6-inch display with display resolutions measuring 2048 x 1536 pixels. Powered by octa-core Snapdragon 652 CPU, the phone will include 32GB ROM, Adreno 510 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
Therefore, going by features, the SM-T719 and the SM-T819 share similar RAM, CPU and GPU, but the SM-T819 features a larger display size than the SM-T719. GSM Arena notes that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 scores 4275 compared to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 8.0 in multi-core test. On the contrary, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 8.0 scores 1312 than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 scores at 1225. Comparing both models, it can found that the only difference between them will be the screen size and battery backup.
