Samsung has a lot riding on its next flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S8. Everyone is aware of the misfortunes of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, something that has been pouring in the losses.
Samsung is simply riding out the tide right now and are most likely eager to make amends to the smartphone consumer market. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge are next in line and the South Korean company needs to make sure that all bases are covered.
Big Bump In Internal Storage
Samsung has been known to pack a punch on their devices and the Galaxy S8 is looming to be another powerhouse, Phone Arena reported. The word out is that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, more than enough for average users.
Compared to the 32 GB internal storage of the Samsung Galaxy S7/ S7 Edge, the bump to 256 GB of in internal storage will be a huge improvement. There is no confirmation for now however if the returning microSD card slot will still be around.
Powerful And New Game-changers
Seeing the Samsung Galaxy S8 packed with 6 GB of RAM will of course help reel in power-conscious customers. Along with a reported Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and a pressure-sensitive display, The Samsung Galaxy S8 could be promising.
Outside the circle of power, the Samsung Galaxy S8 could yet come up with a feature folks would love. This has to do with the personal voice assistant which is expected to come from Viv. This could be the company’s indirect swipe to give Apple and its iPhone line some competition, BGR reported.
The personal voice assistant will have two personalities. The male voice will be known as “Bixby” while the female version is “Kestra”. These may not be much but are features that could help boost the fortunes of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and/or S8 Edge.
