Samsung Galaxy S8, South Korea’s texh giant’s next flagship model is going to be a featured laden device. So far, we have seen a lot of rumors swirling for this device. Yesterday, an alleged teaser image of the new Samsung Galaxy S8 appeared which claims to provide an information on the launch date of this much anticipated device.
The South Korean company has seen a lot of difficulties due to its high specs phablet Galaxy Note 7. There have been a number of incidents of the phablet exploding in the different corners of the world leading to major recalls from the manufacturer. While the Note 7’s fate is still not confirmed, the expedited launch date for the next flagship Galaxy 8 may counter the negative impact of Note 7.
An alleged teaser image of the much awaited smartphone has hit the pages which has been leaked by @Ricciolo. According to WCCFTECH, if the image is taken as authentic, the Samsung is expected to launch this device in the last week of February. This teaser also shows an image of the IRIS which hints a potential iris scanner coming for the device.
In addition to the dual cameras and iris scanning, the Samsung’s smartphone will also bring more features with it. Samsung can also remove the 3.5 mm earphone jack this year and it may support audio peripheries using Type-C capabilities.
With the exit to the year 2016, the rumor is becoming more active and stronger. The new Samsung’s flagship looks impressive especially with the expectations of the hardware making a shift next year. Galaxy S8 will be powered by both Snapdragon 830 and Exynos 8895 processors. The Exynos processor seems to touch the high frequencies of 3.0 Ghz.
But, all will be confirmed once we have S8 launched officially and these expected features have certainly painted the future bright. Let us wait for the next big update! Stay Tuned!
