Just after Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge hit the market in the first quarter of the year, rumors of another Galaxy S6 model have started to come up.
Not only that, even the specs of the next anticipated release, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus have been leaked.
So if you have been planning to grab an S6 soon, just wait for a few more months to check out the best of the three.
The normal release schedule of Samsung, a new Galaxy S model in the first half and a new Galaxy Note phablet in the 2nd half (which it has been following for the last few years) seems to have changed for 2015. First, Samsung rolled out not one but two Galaxy S models in the first half, and now the launch of another flagship phablet before September is highly anticipated.
There have been many reports that suggest the launch of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus very soon and the latest leaks reveal tech-specifications of the device along with a blurry photo.
The outlook of the Plus model, as suggested from the leaked picture, is quite like the current Galaxy S6 Edge, with curved edges but it has a bigger dimension, measuring 154.45 x 75.80 x 6.85mm which roughly indicates for a 5.5 inch display, bigger than the 5.1 inch display of the current model.
Leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus specs also suggest a larger USB Type-C port and it is most expected that the device will come with Snapdragon 808 CPU, over the Exynos 7420 CPU of the current Edge model.
The latest reports about the Galaxy Note 5, which is expected to debut at the IFA conference in September, also suggest that the model will have USB 3.1 Type-C port and a display of 5.89 inch.
