Samsung will reportedly unleash its Galaxy Note 7 soon, and the smartphone appears to be shaping up as an interesting offering. As Samsung confirms the name of the phone, a number of leaks talk about the device featuring three colors, a high-quality camera, and more killer features.
New Note 7 Killer Features
With Samsung’s confirmation about the name and a possible release of the Galaxy Note 7, a number of leaks and expectations have sprung up. One of those includes information from reliable tipster: @evleaks.
According to Evan Blass, some of the features that people should expect include an iris scanner, 5.7″ QHD SAMOLED, 64GB + microSD, 12MP DualP / 5MP, IP68 and three color options namely black, silver and blue. The reports also indicate that the smartphone should be released sometime around the first week of August. While Samsung has not confirmed more details, a number of additional speculation is circulating.

Before the Galaxy Note 7 name was confirmed, Forbes already reported that Samsung has been testing two models of this year’s Galaxy Note phablet. Apparently, the two variants share similar hardware specifications but they differ when it comes to the screen.
Samsung’s Big Bet
However, it can be noted that Samsung is also reluctant in investing on two models. Samsung has been testing whether or not the market will be fine with one curved edge model, as seen with the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge plus the Galaxy S6 Edge+.
For people following the supply chain news closely, expecting Samsung to release one model of the Note will make sense. However, as with other leaks and expectations, people should take all information with a grain of salt. Samsung has not yet finalized all details of the release. Consumers should stay tuned.
