From Samsung Electronics and Barnes & Noble come a 10.1-inch version of the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook. This new slate is actually the larger version of the device that the two collaborating firms released two months ago. The original tablet stands 7 inches.
Interestingly, the 10.1-inch tablet is not just large in its size. It also comes with huge perks to entice buyers. The new version of the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook comes pre-loaded with B&N content worth $200.
Buyers of the new slate are entitled to the latest update of Nook, which has an interesting new user interface that makes it more idea for online shopping, support for landscape and portrait photography, and added navigational tools. The same update would come to the 7-inch predecessor next month.
Big and better
During the official launch, Michael Huseby, CEO of B&N said the new larger version of Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook completes its interesting lineup of devices that its customers can choose from. He also said that this launch is a timely one, given the fact that consumers are preparing for the holiday shopping and gifting season.
He added that they have decided to make a larger version of the collaborative branded tablet to please more consumers. The two companies logically intend to help make the educational and entertainment experience using the tablet better. Thus, this new one is ideal for the whole family.
The new Galaxy Tab 4 Nook has the biggest screen a Nook device has ever taken. It is Wi-Fi capable. The large slate is ideal for reading magazines and books online and virtually, watching streamed TV shows and movies, and playing mobile games.
It comes with a front-facing camera with 1.3 megapixels and a rear camera with 3 megapixels. Of course, added perks would be 16GB storage, which can be expanded for another 64GB through a microSD, and a built-in GPS.
