Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter, Chelsea O’Donnell, has finally been found after being reported missing in August 18. O’Donnell was happy to announce the news on Twitter. The Nyack, New York police have actually been looking for Rosie’s 17-year old daughter since August 16.

Chelsea actually went missing last Tuesday, August 11. She was last seen sporting a black sweatshirt hoodie, dark ripped blue jeans and a women’s grey Converse sneakers. She was also carrying a black backpack and was said to have left home with Bear, a 6 month old black terrier who serves as a therapy dog. The Los Angeles Times reported that the South Nyack-Grand View Police Department was investigating Chelsea’s missing persons report.
O’Donnell’s daughter stopped taking her medication
There was much concern for Chelsea’s safety as the teenager was said to have stopped taking her medication. Therefore, it was believed that she was in need of medical attention.
O’Donnell’s publicist, Cynthia Berger, had said that Chelsea is suffering from a mental illness. Moreover, she said that it has been a “difficult” road for O’Donnell and the rest of her family. All everyone wants is for the teenager to be “back safe.”
A rep for O’Donnell had said that the police had found Chelsea and that she is “safe in their custody.” Furthermore, Christina Federowicz also said, “Rosie wants to thank everyone for their help, especially the South Nyack, N.Y., and Barnegat Light, N.J., police departments”
Chelsea is one of O’Donnell’s four children with ex-wife, Kelli Carpenter. The show host has announced earlier this year that she will be leaving her post as a co-host on “The View” for health reasons.
