Rita Ora is being accused of being “Becky with the good hair” in Beyonce’s new song “Sorry.” The attacks on her by Beyonce’s fans that the “Body On Me” was forced to clarify the rumors.
As stated by MIRROR, Rita even contradicted the issue of having an affair with the American rapper Jay Z, as it was falsely claimed that Ora was “Becky with good hair” in the “Lemonade” album of Queen Bey. And all because she was wearing a lemon-printed lingerie!
A source close to Ora stated that, “Rita Ora is absolutely mortified and really angry about the comments being made about her.” The source also said, “Ora has received a lot of online abuse and it is completely unfounded.”
According to ELLE, Rita took on her Twitter account to clear her name. The “I Will Never Let You Down” singer posted, “I never usually address tabloid gossip, but let me be clear, these rumours are false.” Then, for like 3 hours after, Ora followed up her post with, “I have nothing but the upmost respect for Beyonce. Let’s continue enjoying Lemonade.”
Meanwhile, other sources close to Ora blamed it on coincidence why she was the target of being the “Becky with good hair,” as the media outlet E Online also reported that Ora posted online a photo of herself wearing a bra with two lemons on it and also what appeared to be a letter “J” necklace. The “J” necklace might be referring to Beyoncé’s husband, Jay Z.
Also, Ora shared a snap of the 1973 film Ash Wednesday starring Elizabeth Taylor, a story of a middle aged woman trying to save her marriage which is about to fall down.
