Tom Brady’s wife Gisele Bundchen is reportedly getting mugged at the opening of the Rio Olympics this weekend.
How could this be? Could this be another planned terror attack on the South American country?
It can be noted that the South American country has been on the headlines lately following reports of possible terror attacks.
As several reports have revealed, it is definitely true that the 36-year-old fashion model and actress will be attacked but only for a performance, an on-stage role play, that is anticipated to put her on a spotlight as she depicts the life in Brazil.
In an interview with BBC, as shared by Vogue, ceremony director Leonardo Caetano disclosed that the performance of Gisele Bundchen “For the world, it will be an updated view of what being Carioca, of being a Brazilian, is.”
He added that it will be “An opportunity for the world to see the current results of our history and of our miscegenation.”
Rather than presenting Brazil’s history in chronological order, the production team has opted to present it in a “modern and dynamic way,” which emphasis on veering away from “clichés and stereotypes.”
Aside from Gisele Bundchen, Brazilian actress Fernanda Montenegro and British actress Judi Dench will also be part of the Rio Olympics opening ceremony via their rendition of “a poem known at a time.”
In the meantime, Page Six reported that the highly-paid international model and her husband, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, are set to buy a new property in New York City.
The property, which is reportedly worth more than $20 million, is a “five-bedroom pad at 70 Vestry, a luxury Robert A.M. Stern-designed building overlooking the Hudson River” in The Big Apple.
The report still has to be validated, though, since the couple’s reps, including that of the 70 Vestry owners Related Companies, have never commented on the matter yet.
