Many people might have been shocked to see Rihanna almost naked in her new music video, and rapper The Game appeared to be one of them.
“Happy 420, look out for ‘Needed Me’ TODAY at NOON EST,” the “Umbrella” singer, who is Robyn Rihanna Fenty in real life, wrote, “Anti” album’s newly-released track.
In the said video, Rihanna was just wearing a sheer robe on top of her naked upper body, thus making her nipples look vivid. Apart from showing off the almost nude body of the Barbados-born singer, the video also featured gangster masks, strip clubs and skimpily-dressed women, which are said to be the style of one director.
Based on the report, the on-again, off-again girlfriend of Chris Brown’s “Needed Me” music video was directed by Harmony Korine, the one responsible for 2013’s blockbuster “Spring Breakers.”
While the video’s concept may have gotten the nod of some, it did not sit well with the 36-year-old “You Know What It Is Vol. 1” artist, according to Hollywood Life.
“Got them Coming To America Nipples,” The Game said, commenting on an Instagram snap the “Love the Way You Lie shared.
Despite reportedly dissing Rihanna by referencing to a 1988 Eddie Murphy comedy, the entertainment site could not present a reason why he did such thing.
In the meantime, MTV shared several GIFs of the much-talked about video.
The music site noted that it is a video that “demands closer inspection,” considering that it is reportedly “savage.”
It can be observed that in both during daytime and nighttime, the lead cast was seen doing one common thing – smoking.
In other scenes, she was described as eliciting an expression of being confused while plotting the assassination of a man.
