The latest Rick and Morty season 3 spoilers have suggested that a crossover with “Gravity Falls” is expected as a darker plot is about to be adopted.
How could this rumored crossover unfold? Would Dipper Pines and his twin sister Mabel be allies or the unexpected enemies?
When it comes to the rumored plot, how dark could it possibly get?
Relative to the unending speculation that a crossover of the two widely-watched animated television series is indeed happening Rick and Morty season 3, Movie News Guide revealed that based on the observation of one fan, this scenario has allegedly happened already.
Rick and Morty Crossover Theory
Accordingly, the crossover took place in an episode of the now defunct “Gravity Falls.”
“There’s an episode where the portal in ‘Gravity Falls’ opens up and a notepad, coffee mug and pencil fly through it, and it goes through a portal in an episode of ‘Rick and Morty,’” the fan alleged.
However, another fan theorized that such seems impossible to happen in the upcoming third season of the adult animated science fiction sitcom, even if its creators, Alex Hirsch and Justin Roiland, are friends.
“Y’all should know Justin Roiland and Alex Hirsch are really good friends. I doubt they do a huge crossover but it’s pretty cool though,” the fan said about the Rick and Morty season 3 spoilers.
Meanwhile, a fan theory has emerged on Reddit claiming that the new season might just become darker.
As alcoholic scientist Rick is expected to be free once again after successfully escaping from a maximum security prison, he would have the chance to roam around the galaxies. This means that the Galactic Federation may have to “resort to drastic measures” just for them to catch “all the Ricks” in Rick and Morty season 3.
Considering this situation, major villains might be joining, and these could be The Devil, The Evil Morty, Abradolf Linkler, Testicle Monsters, Krombopulos Michael, Beta 7, Zeep Xanflorp and Tammy.
In the meantime, Movie News Guide dished in a separate report that Rick and Morty season 3 may comeback by December this year.
