Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita were seen working towards reconciliation on the July 24 episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. The friendship between the two was on the rocks. While both are eager to mend the ties, making the first move seemed to be the most difficult part.
After talking through her mixed emotions about Giudice, which wasn’t quite smooth, Laurita decided to finally confront her former friend about what was on her mind about the future of their relationship. Giudice, however, seemed to be not expecting this, given her reactions after seeing Laurita at her doorsteps.
“What the hell is she doing here?” she asked the camera.
Giudice invited her in nonetheless, despite totally being taken aback by Laurita’s unexpected move, the US Magazine reported. Laurita confronted her about the mixed feelings she has been getting from Giudice since she returned.
To this Giudice replied that it has been just a week since she is back home. But added that she used to read Bible and prayed a lot while at the camp and that her phone call to Laurita on the New Year’s Eve was genuine effort towards rebuilding their relationship.
Laurita became emotional after realizing that Giudice indeed wanted to revive their friendship and they hugged. The conversation then trailed off to Laurita’s autistic son, Nicholas. Laurita said that he has been making progress but she expects him to do even better.
Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita got into a serious broil over the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast trip.
“Jacqueline felt very, very hurt and Teresa was very frustrated,” new cast member Siggy Flicker was quoted as saying by Radar Online. “From [Teresa’s] point of view, she just went through a very hard time in her life.”
According to Flicker, Giudice wanted to be more involved with her family after spending 11 months in jail. She wanted an easy friendship, but for Laurita, friendship meant a deeper bonding. Flicker also revealed the main reason they haven’t been able to sort out their issues was that they keep bringing up their pasts.
“Once you bring up the past you’re going to fold right back,” she explained. “Unfortunately, it was not a good trip. Right now Teresa and Jacqueline are not good together.”
