The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 may see another exit following Kathryn Edwards and Yolanda Hadid’s departure. According to recent rumors that are doing the rounds, Lisa Vanderpump will also be leaving the show.
But on Thursday, Vanderpump eased the fear of their fans, as she clarified reports about her potential exit. She officially confirmed that she will continue to be a part of the show’s season 7.
“Yep, never thought I would return, but after many discussions. The pump is still in the game,” Vanderpump, 55, tweeted as quoted by the US Magazine. “Thank you to all of you. #rhobh.”
According to a source close to Vanderpump, the SUR restaurant owner was actually thinking about leaving the show, but her husband Ken Todd convinced her to return. “She needed some arm pulling,” the source was quoted as saying.
Vanderpump is also being paid handsomely for her return and the extra push proved to be lucrative. The Beverly Hills edition of the reality series seemed to have some serious problems. Hadid and Vanderpump have been involved in most of the stories from the beginning.
Cartermatt reported that losing more than a couple of characters isn’t good for the show since it would require a complete relaunch of the cast, which could prove to be detrimental for a series that is already six-season-old.
A new cast member is likely to be introduced on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 in place of Hadid. According to Cartermatt, Dorit Kemsley, a friend of Vanderpump, is being eyed for the role.
Not much is known about Kemsley yet except that she is married to businessman Paul Kemsley and has two sons with him. One of the major qualities of the housewives on the show is not shying away from showing off their opulent lifestyles.
Kemsley, who got married to Kemsley in March 2015, once gushed about her wedding in an interview with Wedding Style Magazine. “I felt like I was floating outside my body,” she said. “I was filled with love and completely euphoric.”
