The New York Comic Con was set to invite Jon Bernthal for autographs and solo photo ops. The Punisher actor had confirmed to be part of the three-day event at Javits Center. However, it looks like there has been a change of plans.
New York Comic Con recently confirmed that Jon Bernthal has cancelled his arrival “due to his Netflix production schedule.” The actor is currently busy filming for the Punisher series.
Fortunately, Bernthal only cancelled his Friday appearance. The actor will be available for autographs at NYCC on Saturday and Sunday. Check out the tweet below.
Fans can click here to learn about the on-line price. NYCC attendees will have to pay $50 for autographs and $70 for the solo photo op. NYCC has also requested “NO TABLE SELFIES” with the actor. Attendees can go to autographing table 2 at 11:00 a.m. to meet Jon Bernthal.
Bernthal appeared as the Punisher in Netflix’s Daredevil. Currently, it is unknown when the actor will reprise his role. However, fans can soon see him in the series.
Earlier this week, the actor turned 40. Before his role as the Punisher, Bernthal was known for his role as Shane in The Walking Dead. However, his character was killed off in Episode 18 of the series.
New York Comic Con will be held from October 6 to 9 at Javits Center. Fans can expect exclusive screenings from Marvel Studios and others.
Bernthal’s Punisher is expected to be aired in 2017. The exact release dates have not yet been announced.
