Plants vs. Zombies 2 Goes Medieval on Latest Mobile Update

Plants vs. Zombies 2 Goes Medieval on Latest Mobile UpdateEA is introducing another new twist to the popular Plants vs. Zombies 2. The mobile game developer said the latest iteration of the controversial Plants vs. Zombies game is now going medieval. Are you curious about it? It is going to the Dark Ages, literally.

This latest twist is creating a whole new and different world for Plants vs. Zombies 2. And this means there would be more zombies for players to slay. Just like all the other additions in the past, this one goes free of charge. EA hopes that players would eventually spend cash for in-app purchases.

For veteran players of Plants vs. Zombies, this new feature could be considered as an old hat. However, there’s a catch to the game play. Most of the game levels have sunlight that is falling from the sky. It can be used to cultivate sunflowers and in turn acquire more plants.

The Dark Ages

But in the Dark Ages of Plants vs. Zombies 2, the levels are mostly in the night time. That means there is limited or no sunlight at all. Talk about being spooky. For sure, it will be a real challenge for regular Plants vs. Zombies players.

The night levels within the game rely on various assortments of plants. That makes a difference from the daytime levels. Because there is practically less sunlight to utilize, players would not have the usual success through the use of costlier plants.

Thus, there are special mushrooms as well as several other plants that are suited in the dark. Those are literally nighttime plants.

Interesting challenges

In the medieval-themed levels, the game’s zombies would be dressed in garbs that are period appropriate. There are period-appropriate jokes as well. Plants vs. Zombies 2 has long abandoned the typically tiered map layout.

That is why players don’t need to worry about the way to unlock gates as well as missing levels. Naturally, players would not want to spend greater cash to do so.

This unique and interesting update is now offered live on mobile, for both iOS and Android devices. Players are advised to hit the chosen app store in order for them to mash the necessary update button.
